Accountabilities


  • Develop, implement, and manage aviation security systems and technologies in support of EY operations, ensuring effective protection of aircraft, passengers, crew, ground operations, assets, and facilities.
  • Manage the operation, availability, integration, and full lifecycle management of Aviation Security Management Systems (SeMS) to ensure reliability, resilience, and operational effectiveness.
  • Plan, manage, and govern system enhancements, upgrades, and technical changes in alignment with operational requirements, security risk assessments, and approved change management and governance processes.
  • Monitor security system performance and operational security events, and coordinate timely responses to system alerts, failures, or vulnerabilities in collaboration with the Safety Systems team, Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI), and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate, current, and compliant system documentation, procedures, records, and evidentiary material to support internal governance, audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret aviation security system data to assess system effectiveness, reliability, compliance, and overall operational performance.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks related to access control activities, alarms, incidents, and system usage, and proactively address potential security gaps.
  • Provide data driven insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to support informed decision making, aviation security planning, and enterprise risk management.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to enhance aviation security systems, analytics, and reporting capabilities through technology improvements, automation, and the adoption of industry best practices.
  • Manage the evaluation, trial, and adoption of new aviation security technologies aligned with EY operational requirements, digital strategy, and evolving threat environments.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training, knowledge sharing initiatives, and awareness programs related to aviation security systems and data driven security management.


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aviation security, corporate security, security systems management, or a related technical security role within an airline or regulated aviation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in security system architecture and integration, including data flows between operational systems, security platforms, and enterprise or airline databases. 
  • Strong experience in database management and data governance related to security systems.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting, including the use of system data to identify trends, assess risks, and support operational and regulatory decision making.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret system data and produce accurate, professional operational and compliance reports.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present technical security information to non technical audiences.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement, technology enhancement, and security performance optimization.
